SELFRIDGES: THE FOUNT
End to end bar design and development for London’s luxury retail pioneers
Tasked with creating a unique experience within the brand new luxury accessories wing, Mr Lyan Studio collaborated with Selfridges to offer a hospitality experience that catered to a sense of luxury in a non-food location.
The task was to reflect its environment, celebrating a sense of lightness and purity to fit the ethos of the new space. We created, designed and implemented the space, menu, training and curation as well as collaborating with the surrounding fashion brands on one-off events. Working with multi-Michelin starred chef Anne-Sophie Pic we designed a sharing menu featuring 3 light millefeuille paired with 3 mini cocktails.
The bar attained critical acclaim as a desirable, luxury destination for both daytime and evening occasions, as well as setting a new standard for alternative hospitality spaces within Selfridge’s retail portfolio.
