Challenge
Moët et Chandon, a long-standing client and partner of our drinks development agency, approached us with a critical challenge:
How can we increase visibility and consumer engagement with by-the-glass serves of Moët Impérial in high-energy, high-volume accounts?
How can this solution be consistent, scalable, and easy for bar teams to implement nationwide?
The task demanded a solution that combined creativity with practicality, aligning with Moët’s luxury ethos while seamlessly integrating into fast-paced service environments.
Solution
After extensive research, ideation, and testing, we found a simple yet striking solution: a set of flavored cocktail paints. These vibrant, edible paints could be applied directly to champagne flutes, transforming them into eye-catching, interactive garnishes that told the Moët story in every sip.
We designed the paints to reflect:

The result was a trio of bespoke paints, each with a unique flavor and color inspired by the essence of Moët Impérial:
Riviera Sunset (White): Hints of lemon sorbet, almond blossom, vanilla, and cocoa butter highlighted the creaminess and citrus notes of the Champagne.
Tropic Gold (Gold): Pineapple, manuka honey, ginger, mango, and brioche underscored the floral, tropical, and bready flavors.
Crimson Pompadour (Red): Red apple, tart raspberry, oak, and caramel evoked the Champagne’s sweet and seductive finish.
These paints elevated the Champagne experience by adding a sensory and visual flourish, giving consumers a compelling reason to choose Moët Impérial by the glass.
Impact
The Moët cocktail paints debuted across all 23 locations of The Alchemist for New Year’s Eve 2024–25. They were an instant hit with bar teams and guests alike, making every serve of Moët visually stunning and irresistibly engaging.
The success of this launch has paved the way for a nationwide rollout, with the paints now being adopted by other key accounts and venues.
