British Airways is investing heavily in lounge improvements across its network, aiming to cement its place as one of the global benchmarks for luxury travel.

To celebrate this, Mr Lyan Studio was invited to collaborate with British Airways, aviation and adventure specialists Bremont, design company CALLUM and Aviation Gin to develop a unique offering and experience for customers travelling through the exclusive Concorde Lounge at Heathrow T5 – the Turbine Martini.

The martini mixer, which features a turbine-inspired design, is engineered to carefully stir the cocktail at the perfect speed of between 120-160 revolutions per minute, elevating the citrus and floral notes to create a smoother martini blend balancing the ultimate combination of aeration, dilution and cooling.

Mr Lyan Studio developed a modern take on the classic cocktail, combining classic ingredients vermouth, custom bitters, a bespoke garnish, and BA’s new gin partner, Aviation Gin. The cocktail and mixer are designed to be used seat-side, creating a unique and delicious experience for travellers.
